Student Storage Terms and Conditions and what the deal includes. Revised 14/2/2024.
Empty strong packing boxes size 60 x 40 x 40 cm and packing tape.
We will deliver these within 48 hours of purchase. For example if you order a 5 to 12 box deal you will receive 12 boxes. Any unused boxes can be returned on collection.
You are welcome to use your own boxes, suitcases, bags or other means of storage. You can WhatsApp or email pictures of your stuff if using your own packing materials and we can give you a price.
We price by converting your items to an equivalent amount of our boxes for example a bike = 4 box, an office chair = 3 boxes, a box 2 times the size of ours = 2 boxes, and so on. A 12 box deal could consist of 8 boxes and 1 bike (bike = 4 boxes).
Collection of items on your chosen day, you can select this on checkout if known or call us to book in.
We do not need to know the collection day at the time of booking, likewise we do not need to know you return date or new address upon booking this can be confirmed at a later date once known.
On collection day we will issue you with a 2 hour time slot.
If you have any time specific requirements you can let us know and we will accommodate.
Collection is from your bedroom if there is no lift and we are required to move items up and down stairs there will be an extra charge.
Storage of items for up to 6 months (any 6 month block) starting from collection day.
Prices are the same for 1 week or 6 months.
Items are stored in our purpose built dry storage units.
Insurance up to the value of £150 is included if you need more insurance please contact us. we will arrange this on individual customer basis.
Our basic insurance covers loss only. Further insurance should be arranged where necessary.
Any insurance claims will be paid in to your bank account. We do not offer an item replacement insurance option.
We require 48 hours notice to ensure you receive your items on your chosen day. Notification by email or telephone call.
When shorter notice is given we will always try to deliver your items as soon as possible.
If you require your items to be delivered more than 10 miles outside of the collection address we require 7 days notice to ensure we can return the items on your chosen day.
Delivery within 10 miles of your collection address included.
Delivery to locations outside of the 10 mile radius of collection will be charged extra. Please contact us for prices.
Deliveries to London are to the roadside/front/main door/entrance of the property and not to the bedroom or specific flat unless arranged before hand.
Return of items on your chosen day to your new address when you want them back.
We will issue you a 2 hour time slot.
